Want to explore non-lab coat careers in science?

The Society for Technical Communication have put together an evening discussion about careers in medical and science writing next Tuesday (3/9) .
Panelists include Kathy Hall, who has been an editor and writer in public health at the University of Washington for many years, Rachel Tompa, who has a PhD in molecular biology and is a technical editor for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and myself, Sally James, a freelance writer on medicine and science for general audiences. Each panelist brings a different mix of education and experience to the field.
The event networking begins at 6 p.m., with the panel discussion at 7 p.m.
It costs $15 for non-members and $5 for students. Please note - registration is required on line.
